Dear Stacy

Get out my life with your damn goodies. Why did you have to go and invent cake Pringles. Honestly you play dirty and unfair and while I like your style I want to punch you in the throat.

I found these today

And upon further inspection I found these

Of course I bought both and ate those damn things all the way home. I decided to keep them in my car for some ungodly reason and continued to eat them on my way to every errand INCLUDING THE GYM. Seriously Stacy without an e you think you're so cute. Well F you and your crack products.

I didn't blog yesterday because I had an AWESOME doctors appointment with Chip (insert sarcasm here) and it was Double Eviction night on Big Brother so I couldn't contain my excitement enough to get my thoughts together. So here are the questions from yesterday and today's.

Thursdays first cause I love me some chronology.

1.Describe your relationship with your parents.

This one's tricky so I'll keep it simple. My parents are amazing people. I don't feel like either one of them play parents roles, and maybe thats because I'm in my mid 20's (actual number isn't necesaaru) but to be honest I have felt this way my whole life.

2. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years? 15 years?

I can never answer this questions. I see myself happy, healthy and loving on my kids the same way I do today.

3. What is your favorite holiday and why?

Seeing as how I'm always on a diet, and trying to get in shape my favorite holiday should be pretty obvuious it's the only holiday completely surrounded by food... THANKSGIVING
Pumpkin flavored things are among my favorites.

4. What is your favorite and least favorite thing about parenting.

Favorite- When my kids tell me they love me or randomly hug and kiss me. That will never get old.
Least Favorite- when my kids hurt or they are sick. It kills me to see them cry or in pain

5. If you could have dinner with one person in history who would it be and what would you eat?

I am a pretty big nerd so there are a lot of people I would love to eat dinner with, like
Bill Clinton, Oprah, Princess Diana, Abraham Lincoln, but right now I would say Amanda Bynes because I want to know what the F is going on with her. I would also prob just order a pizza.

Okay now for FRIDAY's questions

1. What popular notion do you think the world has most wrong?

That a good work ethic isn't important if you're working and hourly job. Seriously in this day and age be thankful you have a job, and WORK that job. Be proud and THANKFUL. I can NOT stand it when someone complains about having to work. You don't have to work you can sit your ass on the couch if you want to, but there are people out there who would DIE for a job so be thankful you are working, and able to work.

2. What is your favorite part of your body and why?

I used to say my boobs, but nursing two kids, and father time has changed them quite a bit. Now I say my eyes because they change color depending on what I'm wearing and thats pretty cool. Both my kids have the same eyes.

3. What is your favorite quality in your spouse?

The thing I love the most about him also drives me crazy sometimes, but it's his dedication to his family. He goes out of his way to help anyone in his family with anything. He lets them borrow anything we have even if it's worth a couple hundred dollars and we probably wont get it back in the same condition. He is so loyal and loves his family.

4. What are your hopes for your prosperity?

I would hope to work in a job that allows us to do fun things and take weekends away and not have to worry about our budget

5. List 10 things you want to be remembered for
1. Always showing my family love
2. Being commited to nature and conservation
3. Being smart and motivated
4. Running races to race money, and being healthy
5. Raising thankful and loving children
6. Winning Big Brother

7. Always taking in kids
8. Being an active member in the community and not letting small town politcs be run by small town minds.
9. Being an avid traveler
10. Secretly donating thousands of dollars to family's of sick kids so that they are able to be by their child's bedside without having to worry about jobs and funds.

REMEMBER it's not to late to join up with Sami over at Simply Sami and donate towards a wonderful cause!! Hop on over and take a look, and while you're there cross your fingers I win the blog design give away!!!!

Hump dayyyy

I did my first virtual 5k for Running4Maggie yesterday on the dreadmill at the gym. It took me 47 min and I'm so confused. I can easily run a 36 min or less 5k outside and I felt like I was running much faster on the tredmill. Does this happen to anyone else??

Today I did another 5k but It was on the bike. Don't worry Sami said it was okay!! Haha.

Are you ready for part 4 of Kimmy's link up... are you sick of hearing my talk about myself yet?

Photobucket
What are your 5 greatest accomplishments?
1. Finishing Grad school while pregnant/having a new born

2. Running the 5 mile race in Boston after only have been running for 3 months
3. Buying a house with my husband...while his name is on everything I am the one who showed him where to sign lol
4. Giving birth to both of my children, you better believe I had an epidural I'm no hero, but never the less that shit hurts and I still want more.
5.Fixingthespacebaronmylaptop....ohwaitIhaven'tdonethatandIhavetotypeeverythingonapluginkeyboard......

What is the thing you most wish you were great at?
This is a great question. Growing up I used to play "the question game" with all of my friends and this was always one so it's funny to think back on the answers I can remember like,
playing football
swimming
playing the drums
singing
dancing

but at this point in my life I would say crafting lol I'm turning into an old Woman

What do you think your spouse loves most about you?
I cheated and asked, he said "Everything" I told him to pick just one thing and he said "everything is one thing".... maybe I'm just super tired but I dont get it.

How did you feel the moment you became a parent?
Queesy, and faint and my vision was blurry. I almost died giving birth to Mabel so my feelings were not of joy. I was also going at it alone, and my mom had to work so I was in the hospital a lot by myself so my feelings were all over the place. When we were finally at home and I was able to walk around I laid down with her in my bed and she put her hand on my face, my heart was in her little hands to do with what she pleased.

Describe 3 significant memories from your childhood.
1. Fishing with my dad, when we got there I started to cry because no one was doing anything....little did I know fishing was a whole lot of sitting around
2. Falling on my butt because I was attempting too much "flair" during my first tap recital
3. My dad having to pick me up from a field trip because I purposly peed my pants because I didnt want to be there and him not letting me sit on the seats in his truck so I had to hoover the whole way home. He made me change...and brought me back.

WARNING THIS POST HAS NO PICTURES CAUSE I'M FEELING LAZY....

Photobucket
Here's part three...and I'm finally early!!!

11. Describe 10 pet peeves you have.
honestly there are too many to list, so instead I'm going to list my husbands because I think his are funnier....at least to me.
1. When the dogs grab a toy right after he puts it away
2. When the kids empty the toy box looking for a toy
3. When I leave trash on the counter directly above the trash can
4. When I leave time on the microwave
5. When Mabel asks him a question followed by "yeah or no" (Personally I love this its so stinkin cute)
6. When I try to cuddle him at night (it's his un-wind time and he only likes to cuddle in the morning...yes I know he's a weird one but I love him)
7. When I say relax like RAH-LAX instead of RE-LAX
8. When I blare the music in my car and shut the car off without turning it down (again I find this hilarious because it scares the crap out of him everytime)
9. When I bring home another plant, or transplant a plant clipping ("plants go outside, you have a million free ones right outside the window"...direct quote)
10. When I dance around in the kitchen and air hump him while he's trying to make dinner, or wash the dishes, or put things away, or get something in the fridge, yes I do this a lot

12. Describe a typical day in your current life.

I feel like every day is different. I just got a new job so I'm getting into a new routine, but on average it goes like this,
6 am -hubs alarm goes off
6:15 am hubs alarm goes off again and I wake up
6:15:01 am Mabel wakes up and runs out of her room looking for me before she even opens her eyes
6:17-7:30 getting kids ready, getting myself ready getting the dogs fed and outside (hubs rolls out of bed around 7 and helps with Chippy)
7:30-8 Drop kids off at daycare
8-4pm Try to pretend I'm super busy (Now that I have a job I don't have to pretend anymore!!)
4pm Pick kids up from daycare and meet Hubs at home
5pm Dinner

15. Describe when you knew your spouse was the one or how I fell in love.

I've kind of already talked about this, but it was love at first sight, honestly.
I never believed in it until it happened. I knew his family for 8 years before I met him and the second I met him I knew. We met at his family's Easter party on a Sunday. That Tuesday he had his sister ask me for my number, that night I went over to their house for dinner. That Friday he asked his brother (who is the one I have known for 8 years) to  babysit so we could go on an official date. On the way home I asked him when he was going to make me a Bergeron... and here we are today!

Getting my Redneck On

Before I do part dos of Kimmy's link up I'm just going to do a quick weekend re-cap.

This weekend the fam and I went to the Cheshire Fair and I was in redneck heaven.

We watched a milking contest, a calf showing, a goat showing, a horse pull and we walked around eating fair food until the hubs and I wanted to throw up.

We had fresh lemonade, cheesy fries, fried dough, and sausage with peppers and onions. Yeah remember that diet I was on.... either do I.

I saw the cutest old men with their cute little wives, and had visions of the hubs and my future it was glorious.
okay hopefully Tony isn't that big but if he wears suspenders I may allow it....

Mabel rode on her first roller coaster and she loved it. She was laughing and screaming the whole time and I am SO pumped because I love me a good roller coaster...and I'm always alone.

ON TO THE LINK UP.

Photobucket

If you could have three wishes what would you wish for?

1. A dream body maintained by sitting on the couch eating cupcakes
2. A closet that had new clothes every time I opened it, unless I really liked something then that would stay forever
3. Endless funds for my children's education....and mine.

What is your dream job and why?

Honestly I am at a point in my life where I feel like a dream job is so unattainable so I'm super jaded and redonk with this one. My dream job would be waking up every morning to a new stack of money on my super clean kitchen table to spend how ever I want and as long as I do one good deed a day it keeps on a comin!

What are 5 passions you have

1. The environment and keeping it around so my children's children still have woods to run around in
2. Children's education inside and outside the classroom
3. Keeping my family happy, warm, and fed.
4. My education I don't ever want to stop learning, and it's putting me in CRAZY SUPER MAJOR debt.
5. Running..... not really but I feel like it makes me cool to say this. The more you say it the more you believe it right?!?

List 10 people that have inspired you and how....I may not get to 10

1. My husband- he allowed me to truely by myself in every way, and let me redneck flag fly high!
2. My son- he's only 15 months old and has had more doctor's appointments then I have ever had and he's so easy-going its seriously inspiring
3. My daughter- I was alone and young when I got pregnant with her and she was the easiet baby I could have ever imagined. She still amazes me every day and if I can perfect the drug to freeze time she'll be the first one I use it on.
4. Bill Clinton, Holly will love this one, but I read his autobiography in high school and was so inspired. It's a long book and he's not the best writer but it's worth the read, and seriously I would totally jump on the man like a koala.
5. Mamalaughlin, SkinnyMeg, Holly, and Jen. These girls bare their all just to inspire other women, and they for SURE have inspired me.
6. My parents- they have showed me both what I want to be as a parent and what I dont want to be, and I'm thankful for both.
7. Every person who has picked themselves up after the death of a loved one, because I'm pretty sure I would stay in bed for a year if anything happened to any of my snuggle puppies.
8. Ellen Degeneres- She spreads the word of kindness and she never stops giving. That girl makes me cry daily.

Thats all I got, I'm sure there's more, but I can't think right now cause the hubs is trying to cook dinner and the kids are in the midst of witching hour.

Describe your most embaressing moment.

I can't believe I'm going to put this out there, but when my husband and I were dating (that one week before we were engaged) we went out to dinner and on the drive home the food wasn't sitting well with me. I couldnt hold it in any longer so I let out a little fart. It was silent so I thought I was off the hook a minute later my hubs (then boyfriend) screams "PEEEEEE YEWWWWWW! Someone's septic tank must have overflowed. That smells like death! That is worse than Mabels diaper!" and he's going on and on, so I obviously went along with it. Then later that night at his family's house he told everyone how much it smelled on 124 and my face turned bright red so he looks over at me and yells "IT WAS YOUUUU!"..
....I've never lived it down since.

Color Me Rad

One of the goals I set for myself this year was to run in 5 5k's. I have never considered myself a runner, so this goal seemed pretty crazy to me at the time.
This past weekend was my 5th race this summer, and it's not even August!!

This weekend I ran the Color me Rad race in Ghettoville Brockton Mass. with my friend Becky.

She is not a runner and she has a crazy busy schedule so she didn't really train much.
Yes her shirt says running sucks

She told me she was so nervous I was going to get angry if she couldnt run the the whole thing.

Girl is cray.

I wouldnt have cared if she wanted to pull up a chair and watch everyone else run by while we sipped margaritas.

I was just happy to have someone to run with. We had a blast. We didnt run the whole thing but I give my girl props, not only had she not run like all summer, she was super sick and could barely breath, and she EASILY could have ran the whole way.

The course wasn't that great. It was in the Brockton fairgrounds and kind of in surrounding neighborhoods. The "color stations" were pretty grouped together so you ran through two colors right away and then didn't see any for about a mile and half, then you ran through the rest.

There were color bombs to pick up near the finish line which ended up causing a line, so I'm glad I wasn't trying to PR.

At the end we were COVERED.

There were also a lot of really great sponsers including redbull who handed out their limited edition flavors, blueberry, cranberry, and lime. I love them all and I dont even like Redbull.
They also had froyo and as I was nicely finishing mine up I got color bombed...in the face....

The whole thing was super fun and totally worth it. I will def be doing it again next year, but there are a ton of color runs in our area so we may try another one thats closer.

We also went blueberry picking but I didn't get any pictures because I'm sick now too and I choose to sit under the bushes eating them instead!

Have a great week!!

Breaking the Rules.

II feel like it was one of the first things I heard after I had my son.

Don't compare your kids.

Please find me one mom who doesn't and I bet after 2 glasses of wine she'll admit to it.

It's so hard. Especially when they are close in age. Mabel had just turned 2 when Chip was born so she was still hitting milestones at a mile a minute.

Mabel my little princess was a dream baby. She was so happy and easy going. We used to describe her as stoic.
She used to fake laugh when you tickled her because she knew it was what she was suppose to do. She was a self soother a happy nurser (she nursed til 15 months) and she was all around an easy baby.

Then came my boy Chippy. He was a bundle of anxiety before I could even deliver. His delivery story is a post all in its own. He has had more medical complications than I could have ever imagined.

He also laughs full bellied all the time. He loves a good kiss session and loves being held.

While Mabel walked at 12 months, Chip is just starting to take his first steps this past week.

Mabel was a little chatter box (and still is) and Chip is a man of few words.

Mabel loves the water, Chip would rather play with rocks on the beach.

Mabel was a blueberry fiend, legit would eat her weight in them. Chippy loves him some graham crackers.

But you know one thing I can say is the exact same with the both of them

How much I love them, how I can't get enough of their kisses, how my heart melts at the sight of them sleeping.

They are also pretty damn cute, they look so much a like I love it.
